Description
Before the wristbands. Before the VIP tables. Before social media told everyone where to be.
There was DC10.
This stunning print captures the venue in 1999, the year it first opened its doors. Ibiza was already becoming the dance music capital of Europe, but the island still belonged to free spirits, misfits, locals, DJs, artists and adventurers. The rules were few, the parties were organic, and the best nights often happened by accident.
Back then, DC10 was little more than a laid-back daytime bar near the airport, licensed for just 80 people. What it lacked in size, it made up for in atmosphere, attracting locals and early rave pioneers looking for something real, far removed from the polished clubbing experiences that would follow in later years.
Nobody knew it at the time, but this unassuming blue building would become one of the most influential venues in electronic music history.
Beautifully recreated by our talented artist friend ORTU, this artwork transports you back to an era when Ibiza was underground, carefree and wonderfully unpredictable. A time when parties drifted from day into night and back into day again, fuelled by freedom, friendship and a shared love of music.
The spirit that would later become Circoloco was born here. Morning after-parties rolled effortlessly into the afternoon, powered by uncompromising house and techno, a fiercely independent attitude, and a complete disregard for convention.
No VIP sections. No bottle service. No influencers. Just music, freedom and a crowd that understood exactly why they were there.
If you were part of those days, this print is a portal back to them. If you arrived later, it’s a celebration of a venue that helped define Ibiza’s underground culture and cemented its place in dance music history.
Printed on luxurious Fresco Gesso 300gsm, a premium uncoated stock with a bright white hue and distinctive hammered texture on both sides, this is a world away from ordinary posters.
